Men, Rise up, take up your responsibilities: Bishop Dan Zoreka
The Provincial Father’s Union President, Mr. Samuel Bakutana has hailed the Diocese of Kinkiizi for establishing the Men’s Ministry Office at the Diocesan Secretariat. He said he was optimistic that men in this Diocese will be mobilized enough to become vigilant in the church ministry as well as improve the family’s well-being. He said these words today 1st March 2023 in the 3 Days Father’s Union Workshop that is taking place at St. Peter’s Cathedral Nyakatare.
While officially opening this conference, the Rt. Rev. Dan Zoreka emphasized that men should raise up and take up their responsibilities in their families as well as their churches because they were created to be heads of their families on this planet earth. Bishop Zoreka said that if men are vigilant, this will bring happiness to their wives and children as well.
while in the morning devotion which was led by Rev. Gad Tibeijuka Ngyemura, the Diocesan Secretary, he expounded on the 2023 annual theme: United for service and growth, where he said that every part of the body is important for the good operation in a healthy life. He challenged the parish FU- leaders to apply this example in the ministry they do in their parishes as well as in their families.
The three- days conference has attracted more than 60 Father’s Union leaders from the 61 parishes of the Diocese of Kinkiizi accompanied by the 11 Archdeacons and other few invited dignitaries.
