During a colorful service in the St. Peter’s Cathedral – Nyakatare, led by the Rt. Rev. Dan Zoreka, Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkiizi, the Office based staff celebrated their Christmas in a Holly Communion Service which started at 10:00 am. All Diocesan Heads of Departments, Project Staff such as Bwindi Community Hospital, Batwa Development Program, Kihiihi Nyanga Community Development Project, Compassion International – Aided Child Development Centers, and other Diocesan Partners were gathered in this massive Christmas service to praise the lord as a team.

In his sermon, Canon Frank Twine called upon these Diocesan Staff to earnestly seek the Saviour Jesus Christ because he is omnipotent. Canon Twine testified about how the Lord Jesus Christ has offered him Peace, Healing, and a second chance so as to preach the word further in all corners of the world.

He encouraged them to emulate the Wisemen’s diligence in seeking the newborn King, as well as the Shephards who tirelessly sought the Saviour of this world and presented precious gifts to this Baby Jesus. Canon Twine further encouraged them to work hard while in their different offices for the rewards are kept safe by their Master in a hundred folds; Quoting from Mark 10:30.

Bishop Zoreka was grateful for the teamwork these staff has exhibited this year 2022 and commended them to continue the practice. Meanwhile, the outgoing Diocesan Secretary Rev. Can. Kenneth Kanyankole was grateful for the opportunity to serve in the office till now that he is going for further studies.

During this service there was the Cake Cutting ceremony which was shared by all the staff

Glory be to God for speaking through his own Canon Frank Twine. Thanks Canon Twine for walking your talk. Our own Bishop Dan, thanks for organizing this. God bless you.
