Bishop Zoreka’s Last Confirmation Service as Rev. Daniel Buregyeya gifted with a Car.

Welcomed in a flamboyant mood, the Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkiizi, the Rt. Rev. Dan Zoreka, and today 27th October 2023 confirmed Christians into their faith at St. Andrews C.O.U -. Kancerere Parish. This was Bishop Zoreka’s last pastoral visit in this year according to his officially laid out program.

Bishop Zoreka discouraged the newly confirmed to from being taken away by the commonly mushrooming denominations which aim exploiting them. He encouraged them to mature-up in their Christian faith by reading the Bible as often as possible.

While preaching, the Rev. Can. Levi Turinawe warned the newly confirmed Christians against failure to use their spiritual gifts, adding that they will thrive in life upon serving in church. He challenged them that they will give accountability of their lives when they meet the creator.

This was the last parish to be visited by Bishop Zoreka going by the officially laid down program.  

On the same function, Maama Florah Zoreka hailed the church members for being committed to church ministry and encouraged them to continue the serving their saviour Jesus.

Meanwhile, the Parish Priest, Rev. Daniel Buregyeya was officially given a car (Toyota Premio) for running both private and church ministry activities as collected by his well-wishers.

People were called upon to actively embrace and participate in the forthcoming Bishop’s thanksgiving ceremony that will soon be taking place on the 5th November 2023 at St. Peters cathedral while cerebrating 13 years of Bishop Dan’s episcopal ministry.
