A new chapter of mission and evangelism has begun is the Diocese of Kinkiizi.
This chapter has started by the official opening of the grand mission in the archdeaconry of Nyamirama today where by 32 missioners have been commissioned to conduct a house to house evangelism in that archdeaconry. These evangelical missioners were commissioned by the Diocesan secretary on behalf of the Bishop of the diocese of Kinkiizi, the Rt Rev Dan Zoreka. (Sound Bite of Kanyankole)
Guided by the theme picked from John 10:10, which says that Jesus came that His sheep may have life in abundance, the Diocesan Secretary, Rev Can Kenneth Kanyankole said that people in these days need to heal from wounds and shock of COVID-19 and other problems hence the season of preaching the gospel to the fullest.
Rev James Kabagambe who is the Diocesan missioner was appreciated for coordinating such Grand missions which will be held in each archdeaconry every moth of this year. It is anticipated that the next grand mission will take place in Kambuga.
The people of Nyamirama archdeaconry were great full for this evangelical mission and have pledged to wait and receive the missioners whom they have sent to them in the various parishes of Nyakashure, Rushaka, Ntungwa, Mashaku and Nyamirama at the archdeaconry center.
